Miami Scrollathon

In conjunction with the 2016 exhibition “Mary Queen of the Universe,” at Miami Dade College Museum of Art + Design, we engaged with 1,115 participants from 16 schools and community organizations for the Miami Scrollathon. Participants toured the exhibition and learned about how the artists make and use scrolls. They collaborated to make a group installation, as well as an individual scroll to keep, and were each photographed for a permanent record.
